Don Jorge Salles Cuervo is a descendant to one of the most renowned tequila families. His deep-rooted passion for quality and taste led him to the Highlands of Jalisco where Blue Weber Agave is naturally sweeter. He also knew the importance of water and need for rich minerals to distill a premium spirit. Don Jorge set on a quest to combine these critical elements and make them the cornerstones of El Tequileño. All our tequilas are distilled exclusively in copper pot stills. We use this type of still since copper better removes unwanted impurities, resulting in a pure tequila that is full of character. El Tequileno is certified "additive-free". NOM1108

About Kentucky Peerless Distilling Co.-The family-owned and operated craft distillery is located in Louisville, Kentucky. It was established in 1889 and resurrected in 2013 by Corky Taylor, 4th Generation, and Carson Taylor, 5th Generation. The distillery is known for its commitment to producing handcrafted, sweet mash bourbon and rye whiskey using traditional methods and the finest ingredients. Today, Peerless operates under the same distilled spirits number, DSP-KY-50, with the same historically superlative standards. It has opted to craft entirely in-house without outsourcing or comprising. “We’re driven by quality, not profit,” says Corky Taylor. “We’re very serious about making the best product we can.”

Peerless® Double Oak Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey, Barrel Strength- is a "supercharged" version of their award-winning rye whiskey, defined by a dual-maturation process that pushes the boundaries of depth and viscosity. Following their signature sweet mash distillation, the spirit is aged in a new charred oak barrel and then transferred into a second new charred oak barrel. This allows for two full "extractions," pulling maximum flavor from the wood and significantly darkening the spirit. While standard ryes are often praised for being "bright" or "grassy," the Double Oak Rye leans into deep, dark, and savory territory.
